What if I am late to an appointment?

If you are 10 min late or more there is a fee of $5 per pet.

When you are late you run the risk of loosing your appointment and you may need to reschedule.

What if I forget my appointment?

Not showing up to an appointment for any reason will result in a fee of $25 per pet.
This includes missing your appt by showing up too late.

Can I stay with my pet while they are being groomed?

I normally dont allow this at all. It is distracting to the animals. They are actually able to be more relaxed once the owner has gone. The only time I will allow an owner to stay with their pet is with cats. Cats will sometimes positively respond to their owners being present, this method is used when the cat has behavior problems.

How long will my pet be at the groomers?

I do my best to get your pets in and out promptly to reduce stress and avoid potty accidents. Expect your pet to be at the groomers for anywhere between 2-4 hours. This time frame is based on a few things like, how busy I am for that day, and whether or not people are on time to their appointments.

We’ll take good care of your pet

Do not randomly show up to check on your pet while they are here, or show up early before they are finished.
It is very disruptive. When your pet gets excited to see you and it is not yet time to go, they then have to go through you leaving them again. It is very hard for some pets with separation anxiety to be left in the first place.
I would like this to be as stress free as possible for your pet.

What if my dog has fleas?

Your pet should be on a monthly (4 week) flea product. There are many different types of products out there,
some work better than others. I can make some recommendations for you depending on your pets needs.
If your pet comes in with fleas they must receive a flea bath. This is done with an all natural citrus based shampoo (no chemicals). There may be an extra fee for this.

Should I be grooming my pet at home? YES!

1. Brush your pet 3-5 times per week
2. Use proper tools, a good quality brush and comb
3. Only use shampoo for dogs and cats (no people products)
4. Always completely brush out your pet before any at home bathing
5. Use at home grooming as bonding time with your pet
